There are options on the market to help you solve your pest problem. But ultimately bringing in an expert will save you time, money and stress in the long run. Rat control isn’t always simple.
Bring in a pest controller for rat control.
A rat infestation can be upsetting but we’re experts in rat control, in and around Bristol. With over 20 years of experience and a team of 9. We’re guaranteed to have someone who can help you with your rat control.
Finding the infestation.
When we arrive, we’ll do an initial site inspection on the property. This is to find any entry points, grease marks, gnawing or damaged food. Once we’re happy we understand what is going on we can go straight into treatment.

Follow their tracks.
Before we go into your treatment, we’ll track them by checking grease marks, locations of droppings and damage to any food supplies. Once we begin the treatment we’ll use tracking dust, which glows under ultra-violet light. We’ll use this to continuously monitor their activity throughout the treatment.

Lay the right traps for rat control.
Traps for rats and mice are different. That’s why it’s really important for us to take the time to identify which rodent you have invading your home. Depending on which rodent you have will help us to understand what traps to use.

Using the right bait for rat control in your home.
We use a variety of different baits for rat control, some are approved for different uses around your home, and others have different benefits. For example, some are saturation baits that are used over a longer period of time, typically where there is an ongoing or reoccurring problem. Others include pulse baiting, stronger, but used over s shorter period of time. Then you have speed baiting, which is even quicker than pulse baiting and will have a different active ingredient.

Restrict any food sources.
To ensure a successful treatment you’ll need to make sure you restrict access to any food, if not, often the rats will continue feasting on this rather than being tempted with the baits we’ve set down for them. Doing this quickly will be hugely beneficially to the success of your treatment.

Monitoring the treatment.
A standard rat control service from us will include 3 visits. On the second visit, which might not last as long as the first, the technician will monitor and replenish any bait that has already been taken. They will use their ultraviolet light to monitor any footprints and ensure bait stations and traps are set in the right place. They will also remove any rodents that have been caught.
Fill the gaps…
Once we’ve solved your rodent problem, we’ll provide a report outlining where we’ve identified entry points for you to fill any holes, this is also a service we provide, but it’s not included within your treatment. A quote will be provided following our initial inspection.
