General Data Protection Regulation
Bristol Pests adheres to the following, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation:
- The absolute minimum of personal data is stored by Bristol Pests.
- We know what this data is, where it is stored and we have full control over it.
- This data is encrypted and is not accessible to anyone other than Bristol Pests, with appropriate admin security privileges.
- Under no circumstance will we pass your data onto any third-party. It is shared with no-one else.
- The data is stored in a proprietary database (by ServiceM8) that uses (https) encryption.
- ServiceM8 adheres to GDPR and has updated its Privacy Policy and developed a Data Processing Addendum to reflect this.
- You can read more about this here: https://www.servicem8.com/uk/gdpr
- Although extremely unlikely, any security breach of the system will be made aware to you within 72 hours.
Personal Data
We don’t keep much personal data. But this is the list of what we store:
- Your name.
- Your email address.
- Your address.
- Your telephone number.
Your IP address is also recorded as part of the website usage tracking. Tracking data is kept for up to 30 days and is auto-deleted after that.
Your Data
- If your personal data is incorrect we can correct it for you.
- You can request the data we hold about you using the “Data Request” form to the right.
- We will keep your data for as long as it is needed for (forever). Unless you would like it to be removed.
- If you would like us to remove your data, please ask us using the “Delete Data Request” form to remove your data from the system and be ‘forgotten’.
- This includes data collected before 25 May 2018.
Consent
GDPR doesn’t insist on consent but we have added it to the contact form as an indication of best-practice. You will need to take action as the default will be non-consent before sending any correspondence to Bristol Pests. Ideally, we would like all contact to be initiated through this form as this clarifies that you have read and understand the implications of GDPR and how your data is stored with us. However, we recognise this is the real world and may not be convenient or possible. Therefore if you decide to contact Bristol Pests via any other means listed on this website, then please note that we will assume that you are giving us consent to store the above data unless specifically requested otherwise.
