The Bristol Pest Controller is a very successful family-run pest control company, set up over 25 years ago by Giles Sharley to support the eradication of pests in Bristol and its surrounding areas. Over the years, we’ve developed into a small team of truly exceptional pest controllers and continue to expand the services we offer.

Giles wanted to help the residents and businesses of Bristol (and the surrounding areas) get rid of pests. But, Giles started his career in pest control and fumigation long before that, in Devon, before moving to Bristol.

Our team of 10 technicians are trained to the highest standard serving businesses and homes in and around Bristol. All our staff have DBS criminal background checks so we can assess their suitability for working in schools, care homes or working with vulnerable people. The core of our business is treating rats and mice; however, our services include, many common pests found around the home and in businesses. Helping farmers and small holdings with controlling moles through the use of trapping. As well as Fumigation and specialist Pre-harvest treatments to support the farming industry.

We’re proud to be an award-winning pest control company; in 2017 we were awarded ‘Small Company of the Year’ by the British Pest Control Association and has been one of our proudest achievements to date. We’re proud that our hard work and passion have been recognised by such a prestigious organisation. We’re continuing our efforts to raise awareness of pest issues in Bristol. Our most recent award from The Quality Business Awards, where we won, The Best Pest Control Company in Bristol 2024 and through our 5-star reviews on Google My Business, which we’re really proud of, show we’re always putting our customers’ needs first.
